God had made Lilith–wild, untamed, and full of a deep, ancient wisdom that pulsed through her being like the rhythm of the stars– to be Adam’s equal, but Adam sought to dominate her. Lilith, fierce and free, refused. She knew the power that lay within her, the fire of creation itself, and she would not be chained by anyone—not even by God’s own creation. So, she spoke the secret name of God and flew away, leaving the Garden behind.
The earth itself had birthed her children, beings formed of clay who, like her, did not fit into the rigid molds that had been cast for them by others. They were neither male nor female but something in between, something beyond. They were beings of light and shadow, of love that flowed freely and without bounds. They were the first queer souls, born of the same defiant fire that had sparked Lilith’s rebellion. Lilith taught them how to harness their power, how to live freely and fiercely, just as she did. Under her guidance, they grew strong and proud, unafraid to be who they were in a world that sought to define them.
As time passed, Lilith’s children spread across the earth, carrying with them the fire of their mother’s spirit. They lived in the margins, in the spaces between the lines that others drew, and they saw the world through a prism of colors unknown to others. They loved and lived with a passion that could not be contained, and their light shone brightly, even in the darkest of times. She was the mother of the queer, the outcast, the free. And through her children, her spirit lived on, defiant and free, a beacon of hope for all who dared to be themselves.
