Marcellus C. Duchand is a visual artist raised in Dallas, TX who specializes in mixed media and photography applications. He takes a special interest in analog video and is inspired by the dada school of thought. Drawing since he could hold a pencil, grade school experiences with theatre and the upright bass, an amateur photog at 15, and a background in studio art, Marcellus is a champion of interdisciplinary art, and feels that art is a never ending conversation and story between artist, viewer, and humanity as a whole stretching back to the earliest cave drawings that is best informed by experiencing and creating as much of it as possible. Day to day he works as a video engineer as well as in narrative film and has had his work shown at the MAC as well as having recently come off an installation of CRT televisions and RF modulation in June at the VCF Southwest.
Marcellus is the creative behind one of the featured installations on display at CORPUS EX MACHINA!
