Larry Berry is a multifaceted artist specializing in woodworking, laser engraving, painting, and mixed-media creations. Never confined to a single medium, Larry follows the flow of his artistic drive, allowing his work to evolve organically.

Hailing from a small town in Kansas and now based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, Larry’s journey into art began at the age of 12 when he discovered woodworking. His passion expanded during college, where his experience in theater production introduced him to crafting intricate sets from diverse materials.

Deeply influenced by themes of transformation and personal growth, Larry’s work often explores abstract forms and the idea of people as "works in progress." He draws inspiration from emotions, unconventional ideas, and even kinks like shibari, which he finds challenging yet fascinating to interpret through his art.

Larry’s primary mediums include wood, leather, canvas, and acrylic paint, which he uses to create pieces that evoke bursts of raw truth and emotion. His art has been showcased at festivals and events such as Beyond Vanilla and Hearts and Chains, where he also shares his handcrafted impact toys and leather goods with the community.

Looking ahead, Larry aspires to create woodworking pieces that evoke tension and presence within a room, while continuing to challenge perceptions through his abstract, emotional works. He is also developing an Etsy shop to make his art more accessible to a wider audience.

For Larry, art is more than a craft—it's a way to twist and reinterpret the world, offering viewers a glimpse into his unique perspective.
