"My work explores the meeting place between past and present.

I create reverse glass paintings with acrylics, each one framed in antique/ vintage window sashes or reclaimed old frames that carry the marks of time. The weathered wood, peeling paint, and worn

surfaces are not simply frames—they are part of the story.

I am drawn to the tension between contemporary imagery and historic materials. While my paintings have a modern sensibility, they exist within objects that have lived another life. That contrast reflects my fascination with transformation, memory, and the beauty that emerges when old and new coexist.

Reverse glass painting requires every mark to be intentional, yet I have learned to embrace spontaneity and paint with feeling rather than perfection. My work has become more expressive, allowing emotion and intuition to guide the process. Inspiration comes from everyday moments, relationships, and the mystery of constantly unfolding life.

Through each piece, I hope to create something that feels both familiar and unexpected—a conversation between history and the present that invites viewers to slow down, look closer, and discover beauty in layers of time."
