For most of their life, Misadventures identified as 'crafty, not creative,' preferring the security of step-by-step instructions. But the growth and self-discovery of recent years has unearthed a creative essence they can no longer deny. Today, Misadventures feels a deep-seated need to put form to their ideas, and they've found the manipulation of clay a welcome avenue for emotional processing and deconstruction of the societal conditioning and expectations which no longer serve them. 

At Technosexual, Misadventures presents an abstract collection of ceramics exploring themes surrounding observation, identity and power dynamics.
