Meet the Artists of Corpus Ex Machina: DIRECTOR JEZ

Director Jez, (they/them) is a multi-disciplinary artist and BDSM instructor in the DFW scene. Drawing on lived experience, passions, and imagination, they seek to blend the horror with mystique. Snails, a central fascination, are presented as symbols of fragility and unease, as both intimate and alien. Just as kink blurs lines between pain and pleasure, Jez’s art asks viewers to consider how attraction and repulsion coexist. Their ongoing practice investigates how environments can hold contradictions and how art can transform overlooked subjects into experiences that demand attention, emotion, and reflection.
